Evening College provides a path for students who are unable to attend classes until after 4:00 PM to complete one of four associate degrees:
- Associate of Applied Science in Child and Family Development
- Associate of Arts in General Studies
- Associate of Science in Business
- Associate of Science in Nursing
Classes for these degrees are available in an evening schedule that allows students to complete the degrees within four to eight semesters, provided they commit to the required hours each semester.
These degrees also dovetail into bachelor’s degree programs offered by the Missouri State Outreach program on the West Plains campus. Those who complete the general studies degree can transfer into the bachelor's program in elementary education. Those who complete the business degree can transfer into the already developed evening program for the bachelor's in general business. And child and family development students can complete the bachelor's degree in child and family development. These are offered through a combination of online, on-site and interactive television classes. Missouri State's bachelor's degree in nursing is entirely online.
