High School Extravaganza
The excitement of the High School Extravaganza Program has been captured on video so others can learn about this worthwhile program. The upbeat program is presented to an assembly of students at their high school highlighting the lifelong benefits of higher education including increased earning and purchasing power, more career choices and opportunities, and a better quality of life. Described as a "pep rally for postsecondary education," the program is designed to help high school students see the benefits of a college education and to encourage them to consider enrolling in a postsecondary program after graduation. The program has been presented to all 23 school districts within Missouri State-West Plains' service area.
The High School Extravaganza Program has been made possible for the past five years as part of a Missouri Department of Higher Education federal grant.
