Returning Students

All former students of Missouri State University-West Plains who have not been enrolled for two full semesters or more (not including the summer session) must reapply for admission. Returning students are encouraged to initiate the readmission process well in advance of the semester for which they plan to return in order to allow time for processing, advising and registration. Registration priority is given to early applicants.

Returning students who have been enrolled in other colleges or Universities since leaving Missouri State University-West Plains must have final, official transcripts sent from those institutions. Documentation and procedures will vary depending on previous enrollment.

If seeking financial aid, complete the FAFSA and scholarship application and submit any required supporting documents as early as possible to allow time for processing prior to the first day of the semester.

Students must register for classes prior to the first day of the semester. Students seeking to register after the start of a semester may appeal to the dean of academic affairs. Appeals will only be approved in situations where extenuating circumstances warrant.
