The Certificate in Welding and Fabrication Technology provides students with introductory fabrication and welding knowledge and skills including Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW).

While the Certificate in Welding and Fabrication Technology may be completed as a stand-alone program, courses in this certificate may be used to complete the Certificate in Advanced Welding and Fabrication Technology or the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Technology – Advanced Welding and Fabrication.
