Audience:

COMPASS is directed for all incoming students for placement in courses that have a math and reading prerequisite, except nursing candidates and honor students. Students must still take the writing sample for courses that have an English prerequisite. Those who have ACT scores on file with the University can be used in lieu of COMPASS. Those who have taken the ACT but seek higher placement should also take the compass.

This testing provides scores for admission, placement and evaluation at Missouri State University-West Plains.
