Writing Lab - in Melton 114
The Writing Lab is available for writers at all stages of composition for all papers across the curriculum. Students who use the writing lab have more success in their classes than students who don't.
The writing lab is a good place to get a second set of eyes to make sure you're meeting your teacher's requirements, to make sure what you meant to say comes across in the paper and to learn how to fix any minor sentence-level errors that may exist in your papers.
The writing lab is available both face to face and online. For face-to-face tutoring, students will meet with tutors in the Writing Lab (Melton 114) for drop in for tutoring.
For online tutoring, students can send their paper to the Online Writing Lab and get feedback in their email inboxes within 24 hours.
Is math your favorite subject? Whether your answer is yes or no, you will find our tutors to be helpful. Tutoring is offered on a drop-in basis; no appointment is necessary. You can come in with just a question or two, or sit down for a longer discussion.
