Missouri State University-West Plains is committed to educational accessibility for all students who have demonstrated by traditional academic achievement (high school diploma) an aptitude for successful accomplishment at the collegiate level.

Missouri State University-West Plains also provides educational access based on criteria other than traditional achievement measures (HiSET-High School Equivalency Test/General Educational Development (GED) examinations) for those students seeking learning opportunities for purposes of career enhancement, professional development or self-enrichment.
