Annual Fund

Started in 2007, the Annual Fund is an optimal way to maximize a smaller donation and know it will benefit students of Missouri State University-West Plains. The Annual Fund provides funding for five different university areas that can’t be funded through state appropriations or tuition. Annual Fund monies are used for:

  • Scholarships - enable students to achieve their educational goals
  • Emergency Grants - help students facing unexpected financial difficulties remain in school
  • Educational Initiatives -
  • Provide academic enrichment activities for students such as leadership and development programs, trips to conferences and competitions, cultural or arts programs and undergraduate research projects
  • Support faculty training in the latest curriculum development and teaching techniques in their field of study
  • Expand tutoring and academic support services
  • Fund guest speakers whose presentations cover topics of importance in today's global society, with many presentations being open to the public
  • Support new programs that will best prepare our students for life-long learning
  • Campus Technology, Labs and Facilities - provide state-of-the-art technology, labs and facilities for the best learning environment to prepare students for the workforce and keep our communities at the forefront of education
  • University/Community Programs - help bring cultural programs, like the Vienna Boys Choir and the St. Louis Jazz Orchestra, to area residents at below-market admission price

The Annual Fund is a perfect place for alumni to begin a tradition of giving to the university.
