How did the West Plains Campus help you accomplish your goals?

Since I was undecided on a major, I was able to get an associate’s here and easily transfer to Springfield. The flexible schedule also allowed me to work while attending classes and I got a good foundation that enabled me to complete my education and start a career.

I was a Student Government Representative and a charter member of the Tri Lambda Pep Club.

What are your fondest memories of your time at the West Plains Campus?

  • New experiences of becoming a college student and being involved in the college atmosphere
  • Making new friends and attending Grizzly games.

How would you sum up your experience at Missouri State-West Plains?

My experience, overall, was very rewarding. Going to college there gave me what I needed just coming out of high school and starting college.

Do you have any advice for potential students?

Attending a smaller college has a lot of benefits. Get to know your professors and get involved in clubs, organizations and activities so that you can maximize your college experience and your potential.
