Housing

Exciting New Housing Options Available!

Learn more about opportunities available at the Grizzly House, the University’s first residential facility located in the heart of campus, and Grizzly Lofts, our newest residential community located just a few blocks from campus in the renovated International Shoe Company. On January 1, 2017, the Shoe Factory Lofts, 665 Missouri Ave., in West Plains, will become Grizzly Lofts and Missouri State-West Plains will assume management of the facility, which can accommodate 274 students. Our residence halls will help you build relationships while also providing comfortable places to study and relax.

Housing Policy

All single students under 21 years of age who have completed fewer than 30 hours of transferable credit after high school graduation and live outside of the campus' seven-county primary service area (Howell, Oregon, Shannon, Texas, Wright, Douglas, Ozark counties) are required to live in University housing. These students must have on file a completed Student Housing Contract or an approved Request for Exception form before enrolling in classes at Missouri State-West Plains.
