Compliance Training Requirement:

All new student employees are required to complete their online compliance training within the first 30 days of employment. The Institutional Equity and Compliance training is required for all new employees, with the other compliance training, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), being department specific; so please check with your supervisor for any additional training requirements. These programs are offered online through My Learning Connection and new student employees are able to access this site through the portal under the Profile tab in their Professional Development Channel. New student employees will be given access within 2 work days after their start date with the University.

This access is automatically set up for new student employees just starting with the University and not for student employees who are already employees starting a new job since they should have already completed their compliance training. Student employees are also required to sign the University's confidentiality agreement.
