The purpose of the Missouri State University-West Plains Agriculture Club is to provide opportunities for student members to develop the skills needed to enter and advance in careers in agriculture, agri-business, horticulture and natural resources. The Ag Club is affiliated with the National Post secondary Agriculture Student Organization and the Missouri Post secondary Agriculture Student Organization.

Whether you consider yourself an anime/manga fan, Japanophile, geek or whatever else; you are welcome in AVA.

The Missouri State University-West Plains Association for Computing Machinery is an organization dedicated to computer graphics, game design and programming.

BPW members can expect a great deal of support and camaraderie as they meet to discuss subjects such as business, student success, and community support.

CCC is religious organization geared at bringing college students together for good times and Christian fellowship.

Christian Campus House of West Plains (CCH) is a student organization and an off campus organization. We are located just down the road from Lybyer on corner West Main Street and Monk Street, behind rock house with sign in front yard. CCH is open 9am-9pm to relax & study.

Christian Campus House is a recognized student organization established to encourage and engage with those students on the Missouri State University-West Plains Campus. We are a campus ministry designed for students to continue their faith on a college campus. We have weekly group meetings held on/off campus, small groups, and various trips in and out of the country. Any MSU-WP student is able to join the group. We are inter-denominational ministry with students from Baptist churches, Methodist, Christian churches, non denominational churches and etc. CCH is recognized with the ACM (Association of Campus Ministries) www.aofcm.org. The purposes/goals of the Cliff Hangers is to increase the overall physical fitness of the students of Missouri State University-West Plains, increase endurance, travel to outdoor routes as a group, increase the popularity of rock climbing with college students, increase climbing ability and performance of students, and to teach students proper climbing safety techniques.

The purpose of the Creative Writing Club is to further knowledge and experience dealing with writing and creating written works. The goals are to prepare members for work shop poems, prose, and short stories for upper level English courses.

The purpose of the Fine Arts Club is to give students access to activities that will further promote their educational, social, and artistic development. The goals and objectives of the organization are to further enhance an awareness of the presence of fine arts, to educate about the categories of fine arts, and to simply have some fun.

Missouri State University-West Plains established a men's club golf team in 2006.  After a highly successful season that included a trip to the NJCAA National Tournament, a women's team was formed soon thereafter.  Grizzly golf team members receive strong support and excellent instruction.  We invite inquiries from students interested in becoming involved in a well-organized collegiate golf program.

To provide students of Missouri State University-West Plains with an organization of individuals that share an interest in the paranormal.  To openly discuss topics of a paranormal nature and to investigate alleged paranormal activity to obtain a clearer understanding and hopefully confirm the activity as legitimately paranormal or debunk it.

Phi Beta Lambda is a business organization to promote better business ideals among college students.  Both business and social events as well as state and local competitions form the basic activities of PBL.

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) is an international honor society for two-year colleges.  Students are invited to join when they have at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average.

Who should become a member?  Members are invited by the organization based on their GPA.

To allow students who enjoy playing pool to come together as peers and to give students who don't know pool the opportunity to play and learn how to play the game.

The mission of the Student Alumni Association (SAA) shall be to:

• Promote positive relations and interaction between the students and alumni of Missouri State University-West Plains.
• Create an awareness of, and involve students in, the Alumni Association programs and services offered to Missouri State-West Plains alumni.
• Encourage present Missouri State-West Plains students to become active, loyal, and supportive alumni after graduation.

Requirements:  Must be a full-time student with a 3.0 GPA

Ambassadors perform roles associated with hosting campus events and guests. These include giving campus tours, assisting with career days, high school visits, Red Carpet Days, and representing Missouri State-West Plains at community events. Book scholarship is provided.

To become a member of Student Ambassadors, you must be a registered full-time or part-time student with an ACT score of at least 20 and maintain a 2.5 cumulative grade point average.  You must also demonstrate a positive attitude and have excellent communication skills.

Students who like to make a difference and be involved on campus should check out the Student Government Association.

The purpose of the Student International Association is to meet and have a better understanding of other cultures.

Who should become a member?  All Education Majors.

SNAHA is a student organization for pre-nursing, nursing students, and other allied health majors.  SNAHA provides opportunities for developing leadership skills, professional relationships, educational opportunities, and updated information on health trends and issues.

Who should become a member?  All nursing and pre-nursing majors.

The Student Veterans Organization (SVO) is a group of college-based military veterans and supporters dedicated to supporting military veterans, their families, the University, and the community.

Section I. This organization shall be named the Student Speech and Theatre Association of Missouri. The individual campus chapter shall be identified as the Missouri State University, West Plains chapter.

Section 2. This Association shall promote communication and cooperation among members of the speech and theatre students on campus and throughout the association in Missouri, work to increase professional development, and to improve teaching, research and scholarship in the communicative arts and sciences.

Section 3. This organization shall follow all guidelines of its affiliate professional organization, the Speech and Theatre Association of Missouri.
