Missouri State University-West Plains established a men's club golf team in 2006. After a highly successful season that included a trip to the NJCAA National Tournament, a women's team was formed soon thereafter. Ambassadors perform roles associated with hosting campus events and guests. These include giving campus tours, assisting with career days, high school visits, Red Carpet Days, and representing Missouri State-West Plains at community events. Book scholarship is provided.
To become a member of Student Ambassadors, you must be a registered full-time or part-time student with an ACT score of at least 20 and maintain a 2.5 cumulative grade point average. You must also demonstrate a positive attitude and have excellent communication skills.

Section I. This organization shall be named the Student Speech and Theatre Association of Missouri. The individual campus chapter shall be identified as the Missouri State University, West Plains chapter.
Section 2. This Association shall promote communication and cooperation among members of the speech and theatre students on campus and throughout the association in Missouri, work to increase professional development, and to improve teaching, research and scholarship in the communicative arts and sciences.
