University/Community Programs

Mission

We serve the business development needs and provide educational, cultural, and wellness opportunities for south central Missouri. Programs are delivered at the West Plains Civic Center through a cooperative agreement with the City of West Plains.

Missouri State University-West Plains Master Activity Calendar

The Master Activity Calendar provides calendar information on campus activities which are held on campus and at the West Plains Civic Center.

Aquatics/Wellness Department

The Aquatics/Wellness Department operates an indoor pool and fitness room and delivers wellness programs. Access to the fitness room and pool are free to Missouri State University-West Plains faculty/staff and students.

Small Business and Technology Development Center

The Small Business and Technology Development Center's mission is to provide business counseling and training resources to established and new businesses within the university's seven county service area.

Theater and Events Department

The Theater and Events Department provides educational and cultural programming for the university and community. Programming may include visual and performing arts, concerts, workshops, films, and lectures.
