The Small Business & Technology Development Center (SBTDC) at Missouri State University-West Plains helps people start or run their own small business. We only have two requirements to assist you: your venture must be for-profit (not a charity) and it must be located in Missouri.
Missouri State University-West Plains SBTDC is located at Suite 105 inside the Ozarks Small Business Incubator (OzSBI) at 408 Washington Avenue in downtown West Plains. Missouri State University-West Plains and OzSBI have an agreement to cooperate, but we each maintain our own policies and procedures. Please come visit us!
Once you are accepted as an SBTDC client, you qualify for free, confidential, one-on-one business counseling sessions. During these times together, we focus on what your business needs to survive and thrive. You can become a client now by clicking the link on the left titled "Become a Client Online." Once you are registered, sessions can be conducted in person, on the phone or via email.
Whether you are currently in business, or thinking about starting a business, the SBTDC can assist you in your venture!
The West Plains SBTDC serves entrepreneurs in seven counties across the region: Howell, Ozark, Douglas, Wright, Texas, Shannon and Oregon. And, since we are funded in part through the Small Business Administration (SBA), virtually all of our services are free!
For more information please contact SBTDC Coordinator Bronwen Madden (BronwenMadden@MissouriState.edu) at (417) 255-8789.
