Theater and Events

The theater and events department provides educational and cultural programming for the University and community. Programming may include visual and performing arts, concerts, workshops, films and lectures.

Most Theater and Events shows are free to current Missouri State University-West Plains students who have a valid BearPass ID and have paid the activity fee.

  • A Thousand Cranes

    Join us on March 24, @ 7 PM for a play about 12-year-old Sadako. Who enters a race to be the fastest girl in Hiroshima, but instead finds herself in a race for her life due to radiation exposure from the Atomic Bomb.

  • The Delphi Trio

    Cello. Piano. Violin. A concert of timeless chamber music performed by world-renowned musicians.

  • Art Around Town

    Join us April 9, @ 2 PM for a free reception on 2-D and 3-D art showcasing the talent of K-8 grade schoolchildren throughout southern Missouri.
