Missouri State-West Plains will be hosting another free COVID-19 Community Testing event sponsored by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (MDHSS), Missouri National Guard and Howell County Health Department.

According to the MDHSS website, β€œthe test is a PCR test done by a nasal anterior nares swab to determine if there is an active infection with SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. This is not an antigen or antibody test.”  Testing is available for individuals that may be experiencing symptoms as well as those that may not currently have any symptoms of COVID-19.

The drive-through event will take place on Monday, November 30, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the parking lot on the north side of the Lybyer Enhanced Technology Center. This parking lot is accessed from Cass Avenue. For more information or to register online, go to health.mo.gov/communitytest.
