Two credit hours in one week is an overload, and approval by the vice chancellor of
academic affairs or his/her designee is required.
A student must have a 2.5 GPA and have completed 15 credit hours in order to take
two intersessions in one week. An overload form is needed and must be approved by
the vice chancellor of academic affairs or his/her designee.
Three intersession classes in one week will not be approved.
When two intersession weeks are offered, one credit may be taken in each week without
considering it an overload.
Students who do not meet the above criteria may appeal to the vice chancellor of academic
affairs or his/her designee if there are extenuating circumstances.
