Purpose
The Advisory Board for Child and Family Development (CFD) Programs provides recommendations
to the University with regard to maintaining, building and strengthening the programs
offered in this area. The ever-changing requirement of the academic disciplines, community
and society will play a strong role in determining these recommendations.
Frequency
The Advisory Board for Child and Family Development Programs shall meet on an annual
basis unless special circumstances require additional meetings.
Membership
The Advisory Board for Child and Family Development Programs consists of a cross-section
of members from the business and academic communities in an effort to reflect the
needs of the area. Board members will be encouraged to share current and anticipated
needs and trends in order to provide meaningful input for the purpose of developing
the strongest possible programs from both academic and practical perspectives.
