Criminal Justice Advisory Board
Mission
Missouri State University-West Plains transforms lives through impactful education and training, offering personalized support for student success, and strengthening our communities.
Purpose
The Criminal Justice Program Advisory Board provides recommendations to the University with regard to maintaining, building, and strengthening the programs offered in this area. In particular, areas such as curriculum, equipment, institutional technology, market demand, and resources will be addressed. The ever-changing requirements of the academic disciplines, community, and the field of criminal justice will play a strong role in determining these recommendations.
Frequency
The Criminal Justice Program Advisory Board meets once per semester (twice per year) unless special circumstances require additional meetings.
Terms
The term of service will consist of one three-year term. Members may be reappointed for subsequent terms.
Membership
The Criminal Justice Program Advisory Board consists of a cross-section of members from the fields of law enforcement, the legal system, the regional academic community, and faculty and staff members at Missouri State University-West Plains.
Faculty Coordinator
The Faculty Coordinator is responsible for scheduling meetings, establishing the agenda, and maintaining meeting minutes.
