Purpose

The Veterinary Technology Advisory Board provides recommendations to the University with regard to maintaining, building and strengthening the programs offered in this area. In particular, areas such as curriculum, equipment, institutional technology, market demand and resources will be addressed. The ever-changing requirements of the academic disciplines, community and society will play a strong role in determining these recommendations.

Frequency

The Advisory Board for Veterinary Technology Programs shall meet on a semi-annual basis unless special circumstances require additional meetings.

Terms

The term of service will consist of one three-year term. Members may be reappointed for subsequent terms.

Membership

The Advisory Board for Veterinary Technology Programs consists of a cross-section of members from the veterinary, ag-business and academic communities in an effort to reflect the needs of the area. Board members will be encouraged to share current and anticipated needs and trends in order to provide meaningful input for the purpose of developing the strongest possible programs from both academic and practical perspectives.
