Missouri State Alert for MSU-WP (March 12, 5 p.m.)

The following alert was sent to the campus community at 5:55 p.m. March 12, 2020

Class is cancelled for March 13, 2020

A presumptive positive case of COVID-19 has been identified in Greene County. We have been informed that the person is not a member of the MSU campus community.

To mitigate and slow the potential spread of the virus and to help protect the Missouri State communities, Missouri State University and Missouri State-West Plains are cancelling classes for Friday, March 13.

Spring break is beginning immediately. We will continue to work on a plan to temporarily transition away from face-to-face classes following spring break. Details will be announced next week.

Staff should continue to report to work as usual.

Teacher Placement Day and the Praxis test on the West Plains campus will continue as scheduled for Friday, March 13.
