Darr Honors Ireland
Blarney Castle
The famous Blarney Castle is pictured. Blarney Castle is home to the legendary Blarney Stone that, if kissed, gives the person the "gift of gab" and will allow anyone the special powers of charisma while speaking. Outside of this beautiful castle lies a series of gardens which include the Poison Gardens, a collection of multi-regional poisonous plants found throughout history.
Faerie Village
In Sneem, a sculpture in the 1980's constructed a series of Faerie dwellings. In Irish lore, after fleeing the incoming race of Humans, the Aes Sidhe, fled underground and left the remnants of their dwellings, which are mysterious mounds found throughout Ireland.
The Ring of Kerry
Along the Ring of Kerry is the Lough Leanne, meaning Lake of Learning. A portion of the Honors student posed for a photo and to admire the stunning view.

Inside St. Patrick's Cathedral
Inside of one of Ireland's most famous cathedrals, St. Patrick's Cathedral, founded in 1191.
Outside St. Patrick's Cathedral
Here the outside of St. Patrick's Cathedral, founded in 1191, is shown. St. Patrick is the primary patron saint of Ireland. Legend has it that after being kidnapped by Irish pirates and then later escaping, he came back to Ireland in order to spread Christianity, though some assert Christianity had already been spread before his mission.
