As part of both short- and long-range planning endeavors, MSU-West Plains uses several performance metrics to assist in budgeting, setting priorities and developing policies. These metrics, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), allow examination of trends to identify areas that are successful or need improvement in meeting the institution's goals for successful students.
KPIs are part of the long-range plan and are reviewed periodically to ensure priorities
are being adequately identified and informed. Current KPIs fall into five areas -
Enrollment, Persistence, Retention, Graduation/Transfer Rate and Degree Completions.
