Q. Why should I meet with my advisor during ASK Week?

A. Degree seeking students should meet with their advisor each semester in order to ensure progress towards a timely graduation and to obtain the Advisor Release/Alt PIN that is necessary for registration. Advisors have set aside additional advising time during ASK Week specifically for student convenience. Make your appointment today by phone, by University email, or by signing up on the schedule posted on your advisor's door.

Q. Do I have to meet with my advisor in person?

A. Students may visit their advisor about their schedule by phone appointment, by University email or by making an office visit.

Q. How do I find my advisor?

A. You can find your advisor's name in My Grizzly Den.
Or, go to the Student Information Desk in Hass-Darr Hall room 107, room T207 in Lybyer or call 417-255-7255.
Once you visit with your advisor and receive your Advisor Release/Alt PIN you are ready to register!

Q. Why should I register during Early Registration?

A. Early Registration allows for the best class selection. Students are encouraged to register at the appointed time, but may also register at any later time.

Q. How do I register?

A. Visit with your advisor for course selection and to get your Advisor Release/Alt PIN.
Web register 24/7 through My Grizzly Den at http://mygrizzlyden.missouristate.edu or register in the office of registration & records (located in Cass Hall),
Monday - Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM.

Q. When can I register?

A. The early registration schedule for current, readmitted and transfer students is as follows:
* Completed hours include transfer and institutional hours, but does not include in-progress hours.

Spring 2022 Registration Dates

  • New students attend STAR Orientation
  • Current, readmitted and transfer students can register as follows:​​​​​​​
    • Spring early registration: November 1-12
    • Spring regular registration: November 13, 2021 - January 17, 2022
    • Spring classes start Tuesday, January 18, 2022
