Get prepared for employment in the mental health and substance abuse fields with the Associate in Applied Science in Community Behavioral Health Support (BHS). Through three practicum experiences and tailored instruction, students develop the skills they need to enter this challenging but rewarding field.
The BHS Program provides a pathway to entry-level positions as a community support
specialist and care coordinator. Careers in this field focus on addressing mental
health and substance use disorders for adults and children in office, residential,
homes, schools, and communities.
