Earn an Associate of Arts (AA) in General Studies
Students at the Mountain Grove campus can choose from a rigorous transfer program that will prepare them to enter a four-year college or University. Students can take advantage of online or seated courses through Missouri State University-West Plains.
Career programs
Associate of Applied Science (AAS) and Associate of Science (AS) degrees allow students to immediately enter the workforce after graduation. These two-year career programs provide the technical, hands-on training you need to find employment in a variety of fields.

Academic advisors are available to help students stay on track to complete their degrees and reach their goals.
Tutoring
Free tutoring is available in all subject areas.
Financial aid
Scholarships, grants, loans and work study programs are available. Students eligible for A+ funding can use their benefits at the Mountain Grove campus of Missouri State University-West Plains. Financial aid assistance is available.
Admission
New and transfer students should submit an application for admission. Have your official high school or equivalency exam transcript sent to Missouri State-West Plains. If transferring from another college or if you have taken college courses while attending high school, have your college transcript sent to Missouri State-West Plains.
Student life
Students receive free membership to the Mountain Grove YMCA with a valid BearPass, and they may participate in activities and organizations at the West Plains campus. An active Student Government Association (SGA) at Mountain Grove offers students leadership opportunities locally.
Veterans representative
Veterans Services provides individual advising and counseling, assistance with application for benefits, education claim preparation, and information about federal and state veteran education programs available to eligible individuals. A Veterans representative is on-site in Mountain Grove by appointment and available via email and phone every day.
Library services
Barbe Library at Mountain Grove gives students access to all Missouri State University Libraries’ collections.
