Foundation Relations
Housed within Missouri State University Springfield Advancement Office, Foundation
Relations focuses on securing philanthropic funding through building relationships
with private foundations, corporate foundations, and other businesses to support Missouri
State University-West Plains mission.
Corporations and private foundations provide generous support for a variety of projects
and programs for students, faculty and the Missouri State-West Plains community. These
initiatives range from research and scholastic endeavors to scholarships, programs,
capital gifts and community outreach.
FR staff also work strategically with local, regional and national partners to initiate
mutually beneficial collaborations and serve as champions for the innovative work
happening at Missouri State University-West Plains. Our team develops strategies for
long-term stewardship to keep foundation partners connected with MSU-West Plains.

The Office of Research Administration (ORA) can assist you in submitting proposals to government agencies at the federal
and state levels. ORA also works with faculty on sub-awards, contracts and funding
