The West Lakes Division of the AAG (WLAAG) will be hosting the 2017 WLAAG World Geography Bowl. Student teams from the seven different parts of the West Lakes region will compete in a round-robin tournament starting at 6:30 PM in the West Plains Civic Center on Thursday October 19. Individual and team awards will be given at the Keynote banquet on Friday October 20. The 2017 WLAAG World Geography Bowl coordinator will announce the team that will compete with other divisions at New Orleans AAG Annual Meeting April 10-14, 2018. Individual members of the West Lakes Division competing team at the annual meeting will receive financial support from the AAG World Geography Bowl Committee.
