  • Open Enrollment for 2016 benefits open through Nov. 20

  • The Student International Association is seeking faculty assistance to raise funds to send students to Quebec City in May 2016. See Rajiv Thakur for more information.   • November 15 - 21 is Geography Awareness Week. Volunteers are needed for the Gobal Bowl on Nov. 20. See Dr. Thakur for information about this and related activities. 
  • Garnett Library has one copy of The Kite Runner on DVD. Please book with the library in advance to be sure that it is available.
  • Please nominate students for the Who's Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges program. Nominations should be sent to Dr. Angela Totty no later than November 13, 2015. WhosWho 2015.docx
  • The Divisional Personnel Committees have decided to move the deadline for portfolio submission to December 1st for this year. A memo containing the RPT timeline: DPC MEMO.doc
  • The Multicultural Support Committee is hosting Deloris Gray Wood on Tuesday, November 17 at 3:00 PM in Melton 112. Ms. Wood is the president of the Missouri Association of the Trail of Tears and a board member of the National Association of the Trail of Tears. She will provide a presentation in celebration of Native American Heritage Month.
  • Games Day @ Garnett Library, November 21: In celebration of International Games Day, the CGP Department and Garnett Library are partnering to bring you an afternoon of fun from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Everyone of all ages is welcome to join the fun! Remember to bring your favorite games!
  • Volunteers are needed to ring bells for the Salvation Army on Wednesday, December 9. The sign-up list will be in the main offices of Melton and Lybyer Halls. All faculty, staff and students are welcome to volunteer.
  • The Faculty Appreciation luncheon is scheduled for December 16 in Cass Hall. Please bring a dessert dish by 10:00 AM.
  • Departmental Assessments were due to Division Chairs on Oct. 15 and their reports are due Nov. 15.
  • Governor's Award for Excellence in Education nominations are due Dec. 2.
