Fruit Filling:
- 1 can or 2 cups of peaches
- ¾ cup of sugar
- Heat fruit and sugar together until sugar dissolves.
Batter:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp. Baking powder
- 1 tsp. Salt
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup of butter or margarine
Mix together and pour into buttered pan. Pour fruit over batter. Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes.
You may add a crumb topping if you like. I just used a mix that is an oatmeal crumb topping.
