Important Dates

Academic Year Fall 2026, Spring 2027, Summer 2027

Fall 2026

  • August 15 - Grizzly Lofts opens at 8:00 AM
  • August 17 - Meal plan begins with breakfast. Fall classes begin.
  • September 7 - Labor Day (No Classes/Offices Closed)
  • October 8-11 - Fall Break (No Classes/Offices Open) Breakfast, lunch and sack dinner (available until 2 PM) served on October 7. Meals will continue with breakfast on October 1
  • November 21 - 29 - Thanksgiving Holiday (No Classes. Offices Closed Nov. 26-28) Grizzly Lofts closes at 12:00 Noon, on November 20. Breakfast, lunch and a sack dinner (available until 2PM) served on November 19.
  • December 7-10 - Final Exam Period. Grizzly Lofts closes at 12:00 Noon on Friday, December 11. Breakfast, lunch and sack dinner (available until 2PM) served on December 10.

Spring 2027

  • January 16 - Grizzly Lofts opens at 8:00 AM
  • January 18 - Martin Luther King Jr. Day (No Classes/Offices Closed)
  • January 19 - Meal plan begins with breakfast. Spring classes begin.
  • February 15 - Presidents’ Day (No Classes/Offices Closed)
  • March 13-21 - Spring Break (No Classes/Offices Open)   Grizzly Lofts closes at 12:00 Noon on March 12. Breakfast, lunch and sack dinner (available until 2PM) will be served on March 11. Meals will continue with breakfast on March 22
  • May 10-14 - Final Exam Period. Breakfast, lunch and sack dinner (available until 2 PM) will be served May 13. The Grizzly Lofts closes May 14 at 12:00 Noon. Residents participating in Graduation may stay until 8:00 AM on May 16.

Summer 2027

  • June 5 - Grizzly Lofts opens at 8:00 AM
  • June 19 - Juneteenth (No Classes/Offices Closed)
  • July 5 – Independence Day Observed (No Classes/Offices Closed
  • July 29-30 - Final Exam Period. Grizzly Lofts closes July 31 at 5 PM.

Requests for late check out during Thanksgiving, Spring, and/or End-of-Semester break(s) can be submitted to the Coordinator of Residence Life for further consideration.
