- Incident Report Filed
- Vice Chancellor of student services opens case for investigation and review.
- Student Receives Charge Letter
- Letter outlines the policy violation and sets the date/time/and location of conduct meeting.
- Letter is sent in an email to the student's university email address
- Conduct Meeting
- Student responds to the policy violation
- Student may bring a support person if they wish
- If student does not attend, meeting is held in their absence
- Outcomes (three options)
- Student found not responsible - Case closed
- Student found responsible and accepts resolution - May appeal
- Student found responsible and does not accept resolution - Requests hearing
- Student Requests a Hearing
- Hearing scheduled with Hearing Panel
- Hearing Panel determines responsibility and resolution
- Student has five (5) business days to appeal
