Business Office

Mission Statement

It is the responsibility of the business office to safeguard the University’s assets, control and process the financial activity of the University and maintain the student’s accounts while providing outstanding customer service to our students, their families, fellow staff members and faculty. Support services provided to students, faculty and staff complement the academic and administrative environment, facilitate the educational mission and contribute toward effective fiscal management of the University.

As students and parents, the business office will be a contact point for you over the next few months. We hope to make each experience a pleasant one. In order to alleviate confusion about payment schedules, payment methods and other important issues, we have created a website filled with information.

What do we do?

  • Facilitate payments for students, faculty, staff, University departments and vendors
  • Cash personal checks for students, faculty and staff ($10 limit)
  • Provide support services to students, faculty and staff
  • Distribute parking hang tags for students, faculty and staff

Payment Method

Missouri State University utilizes a third party credit card processing company for payments on University accounts. A convenience fee of 2.75 percent is applied to all credit and debit card payments. Visa, American Express, MasterCard, Discover and E-Check are accepted online. Learn about payment options.
