3. Sign up and participate in STAR (STudent Advising and Registration) - if you are a first time student - Office of Advising and Academic Support (417) 255-7222
4. Process required paperwork for GI Bill® - online and with the certifying official Veteran Services Garnett Library (417) 255-7222

The following are required forms and will be processed faster if submitted online at http://www.va.gov.

First Time Students

Veterans

• Application for Educational Assistance (DVA Form 22-1990) Submitting online is faster.
• Certified copy of DD-214 Discharge Document (This form is provided to you by your military branch at completion of enlistment.)

Members of the Montgomery GI Bill® Selected Reserve/National Guard

Transfer Students

When your admission to Missouri State University-West Plains is complete, please contact the Veterans Services Office for an appointment to complete the process for continuing your GI Bill®. (417) 255-7222.
