The TJ Swift House ASCEND Program's mission is to encourage and foster self-confidence, self-advocacy, and growing independence in college students with autism.

We strive to understand students’ strengths and weaknesses, and help them learn and apply skills and strategies to successfully navigate the communication, planning and problem-solving demands of college life.

In the Neurodiversity and Autism Center is a classroom, many break-out spaces for calming, recentering opportunities  such as sensory tools, a crash pad, a massage chair, swinging seats, advising offices, and study spaces.

Neurodiverse training for faculty, staff, and housing is held in this building.
