Enter My Grizzly Den

  1. Use your BearPass Login and password to sign into the system.

  2. Find the Student Resources card.

  3. Click on the My Advisor link to see your advisor information.

  4. Schedule an appointment with your advisor. They can help you sign up for the right classes and understand the process of getting registered.

Review your degree requirements

  1. Find the Degree Information card, click on Degree Works Degree Audit.

    1. Enter your BearPass number.

Check your registration status

  1. From the Registration card, click on Registration Status.

    1. If you have holds which prevent registration, click on the View Holds link at the bottom of the screen to show you who to contact to settle any holds.

    2. If your student status prevents registration, contact the office of admissions, (417) 255-7955.

    3. During early registration, your start time may prevent registration. Identify your start time by noting your total earned credit hours and then clicking on the early registration schedule link near the top of the screen.

    4. For information on your Academic Standing, contact the office of academic affairs, (417) 255-7272.

Register for classes

  1. From the Registration card, click on Add, Drop or Search for a class.

    1. You will be prompted to accept the Enrollment Agreement, if you have not yet verified that you agree for the selected term.

    2. If you have not yet completed your Faculty Evaluations for the prior term, please do so before continuing with registration. We appreciate your feedback.

Register for or Drop Classes

  1. You will be prompted for the Alt PIN your adviser provided to you.

  2. In the boxes provided, type the Course Reference Numbers (CRNs) of the courses for which you wish to register. The CRN is the 5-digit number next to the course title shown in the course schedule.

  3. Review the schedule you have created.

  4. If you wish to change the schedule you are creating, drop a course by clicking on the drop-down menu to the left of the course and selecting Web Drop. Add a course by typing the CRN for the course in the box provided and then clicking on Submit Changes.

  5. If you receive a registration error such as two courses that meet at the same time, a closed section, or a prerequisite error, a message will appear at the bottom of the page. You may need to choose a different section or a different course by typing the CRN into the box and clicking Submit Changes.

  6. When you have finished registering for classes, click Back to My Enrollment Tab.

Look-up Classes to Add

  1. Click on the drop-down menu next to Subject and select a subject. You may add additional information in course number, title, part of term, etc. to help narrow the search.

  2. Click on Course Search.

  3. Read through the selections and click on the box to the left of the course(s) in which you wish to enroll.

    1. C identifies a closed class,
      NR indicates not allowed for registration,
      SR denotes student restriction - check with the office of admissions if you require more information.

  4. Click Register or Add to Worksheet.

  5. Add to Worksheet allows you build a schedule before you register and helps you avoid having to drop classes because of a time conflict.

  6. Click Class Search and repeat the above steps until you have selected all the classes you wish.

  7. Click Submit Changes to finalize your schedule.

  8. Review your schedule.

  9. If you have a registration error such as two courses that meet at the same time, a closed section, or an unmet prerequisite, a message will appear at the bottom of the page. You may need to choose a different section or a different course by repeating the steps above and then clicking on Submit Changes.

  10. When you have finished registering for classes, click Back to My Enrollment Tab.

You may print your schedule and review your fees

  1. From the Registration card, click on Student Detail Schedule and print a copy of your schedule.

    1. Some schedules may require more than two pages to print.

  2. At the bottom of the screen, click on View Fee Assessment. This screen will tell you how much you will owe the University, excluding financial aid awards.

To register for another semester

  1. Return to "Register for classes".

If you are finished

  1. Click the Logout lock icon to close MyGrizzlyDen and close the browser window.

To protect your privacy, always logout and close all browser windows when you are finished working in MyGrizzlyDen.
