TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills) Information

Audience:

Students who wish to enter the Nursing Program

Focus:

Students must pass all parts (Reading, Math, Science, and English Language Usage) of the Nursing Admissions Test. The TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills) is a tool to determine if students have the academic skills necessary to perform effectively in a school of nursing. The admissions test is a timed, 170 question, online test that evaluates the basic reading, math, science and English language skills of students seeking entry into a nursing program leading to Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.

Location:

Testing Services are in the Lybyer Technology Center, Room 108, 605 W. Main St.

Fees:

$90. Please pay cash, check or charge on the day of the test on the West Plains campus or ahead of time: https://commerce.cashnet.com/WPTestingServices.

Other:

On the date of the test bring the following items:

  • Missouri driver's license or non-driver ID

Please be prepared to have all belongings stored prior to test administration.
